Group Booking Minimum: The most important aspect of a group contract is meeting the 10 traveler minimum. Minimums may be slightly lower in certain premium cabin packages.   

Request for Quote: The group leader will need to contact United's dedicated Group Desk (or a travel specialty agency such as ourselves) to request a quote. The quote signifies a guaranteed base fare for the entire group.   

Seat Block & Deposit: After your group leader accepts the quote, you will make a deposit to secure a block of seats. This will hold and prevent those seats from being sold to anyone else, which is crucial when planning with a large group to travel together. 

Polaris Lounge Access: When taking a long-haul international flight in Business Class, every member of your group is eligible to use United's exclusive Polaris lounges. The United Polaris lounges, which offer dining options, showers, and peaceful spaces for passengers to relax before their flights, are of the highest caliber. 

Priority Airport Service: The entire party has access to Premier Access. Premier Access always includes expedited check-in, expedited security lanes (in availability), and priority boarding. This is especially valuable for maintaining full travel party synchrony and traveling stress-free with a large travel party. 

Baggage: Each business-class ticket provides complimentary baggage allowance (typically two free luggage) and priority baggage service--you can expect to receive your luggage among the first air travelers with business class tickets. 

Lie-flat beds: On international flights, Business Class seats convert to fully lie-flat beds, with sleeping space up to six feet six inches. The seat configuration is typically 1-2-1, which provides that all adult passengers have direct access to aisles and, when seated, respect passenger privacy.  

Gourmet dining: All of the chef-curated meals and multiple wines, along with the famous make-your-own ice cream sundae, are included for the entire group travel party. 

Group seating: The group will be seated in the same cabin; however, sitting in Business Class seat designs provides the best individual privacy. Therefore, it is most beneficial to work with the group desk early to get adjacent seating when utilizing the typical 1-2-1 layout on the seating map.
