Intake, exhaust, fuel, and forced-induction upgrades can add useful power without completely changing how the car feels. For higher classes, an engine swap may offer a better power-to-weight ratio, but check the performance index cost before committing. A huge horsepower figure isn't much help if there's no room left for tyres or suspension. The same goes for drivetrain conversions. A tiny amount of rear toe-in can calm the car, though too much creates drag. The DB7 GT also benefits from firmer anti-roll bars than stock, with enough balance left in the rear to help it rotate. Spend on tyres, weight reduction, suspension, and differential control before chasing another hundred horsepower. You'll notice the benefit in every braking zone, not just on the motorway.
