The future of running back Alvin Kamara certainly seems unclear. Kamara, who will turn 31 years old in July, is coming off what was easily the least-productive season of his career in 2025. This offseason, the Saints added Travis Etienne in free agency, which will push Kamara down to the No. 2 role on offense. A change of scenery has been predicted for Kamara for the last couple of seasons, but that he would sooner retire than play for another team. Still, those trade rumors persist and the team connected to them almost every time is the . If Kamara were to be traded, a move to Denver would make sense. Sean Payton had him in New Orleans for several years and he experienced the best seasons in his career playing for him. The Broncos also have a need at the running back position. There are several top players who have continually come up in trade talks this offseason, such as A.J. Brown being moved from the . But Kamara is another one, and recently predicted Kamara being sent to the Broncos J.j. Taylor Jersey for a 2027 sixth-round pick. How likely is a trade between Denver and New Orleans for Alvin Kamara? It seems likely that the Broncos will be looking to add a running back in the upcoming NFL draft and there are some solid options out there. After already re-signing J.K. Dobbins, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie this offseason, the Broncos have a lot of similar backs and though much more experienced, Kamara shares many of the same traits as those players. They also have RJ Harvey, who has often drawn comparisons to Kamara. The Broncos need a guy who can come in and spell Dobbins and Harvey to grind out tough yardage in key situations. That was the player the team didn't have and sorely needed during last season's playoff run.
