Could Broncos lose general manager George Paton to NFC North tea
When the , Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, last week, speculation began almost immediately that the team could take a look at current general manager George Paton. Could this even be po sible? Paton has a terrific situation in Denver, where the only major gaffe he has made was to extend Ru sell Wilson directly after trading for him in 2022. But the team came within one game of the Super Bowl and will have that Wilson deal off the books this coming year. By all accounts, he has a tremendous relationship with Sean Payton and Spencer Martin Jersey the team's ownership. However, he spent 14 seasons in the Vikings' organization, starting as the director of player personnel in 2007. It appears that Paton will enter the final year of his contract in 2026, which could open the door for a return to Minnesota. The Broncos should work to get Paton signed to a contract extension soon if they want to keep him in the front office. Paton who spent more than a decade in Minnesota prior to joining Denver is entering the final year of his contract in 2026. Zack Kelberman (@KelbermanNFL) However, he would be calling the shots there. In Denver, there is no doubt that Sean Payton plays a huge role in all decisions made by the team and seems to have more overall power than Paton. That could be a situation Paton would be keen on getting away from. READ: It would all come down to how much love he still has for the team he spent the majority of his career with. But to Broncos fans who scoff at this notion, it's a legitimate po sibility if there is interest on both sides. More Broncos Content Jack Drury Jersey
