India is rapidly progressing in the adoption of electric vehicles, including electric bikes, scooters, and cars at large. When it comes to two-wheelers, Indian buyers and manufacturers seem to be more inclined towards electric scooters than electric bikes. Therefore, the electric scooters segment has more options for Indian buyers in comparison to that of electric motorcycles.

However, it is not that you’ll have to compromise with a scooty to fulfill your need to have an electric two-wheeler. Though there are still not a lot of electric bikes on sale in India, many shall enter the market soon. Manufacturers are working to introduce their next set of wheels - more precisely, bikes - in India with electric powertrains. Here is a list of such upcoming electric bikes in India, to help you plan your next electric-two-wheeler purchase well.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6

The first-ever electric motorcycle from Royal Enfield, the Flying Flea C6 is an electric motorcycle built with keeping India and its roads in mind. It will be the first launch from this list of upcoming electric bikes, likely to debut by April 2026 in the country. The bike has been presented as a neo retro electric vehicle, thanks to its retro design, which features 19-inch alloy wheels, round mirrors and LED headlamp.

The brand has said that the bike sits on the L platform, and it gets several features like dual-channel ABS, forged aluminium Girder front fork, and coloured digital touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity, Navigation, Voice assist, and OTA updates. Mechanically, Royal Enfield has not revealed much when it comes to the technical specs, but it is expected to deliver performance equivalent to a 350cc ICE-powered motorcycle from the brand.

TVS eFX three o Concept (e.FX.30)

The brand unveiled the eFX three o Concept as one of its upcoming electric bikes last year at the EICMA 2025 in Italy. It will be the first-ever electric bike in India from TVS Motor Company when launched. It is likely to hit the Indian market by the end of 2026 or early 2027.

While the product design has not been finalized yet, the concept version did showcase C-shaped LED headlamp and tail lamp clusters. The tail section did appear to be quite a sleek and contemporary design element. Some of the highlights from this upcoming TVS electric bike include ADAS tech with integrated dashcam system, golden USD front forks, large alloy wheels, and a belt-drive setup. We can expect TVS bikes to power it with iQube’s 3.4 kWh battery pack with 1 kWh “range boosters” to quickly add 40-50 km of range.

Hero Vida Concept Ubex 

At the EICMA 2025, Hero MotoCorp showcased its first electric motorcycle, the Ubex, in concept form. Underpinned by a modular platform, the upcoming electric bike has been developed for all-terrain riding. Design-wise, the bike looks like a neo-naked urban hypermoto, which was presented at the showcase in a dual-tone colour scheme. Similarly, its frame was painted white while the body panels were finished in red.

In addition to the said, the styling highlights of the bike include a front beak, a tall stance, a floating seat, and an exposed frame. It also features alloy wheels, USD front forks, monoshock rear suspension, and a compact tail section. Hero has not revealed the specifications of the battery pack along with the range as of now. The Ubex is likely to feature a mid-mounted electric motor, and it launches in early 2027 in the Indian market.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6

Make no mistake in the name, as this is yet another entrant from Royal Enfield here. The Flying Flea S6 will be the second electric bike from Royal Enfield after the C6, which we spoke about earlier. This will be a Scrambler model, which very recently made its first public appearance in India, at the Motoverse 2025 in Goa. Royal Enfield may launch the S6 by the end of 2026 in the Indian market. This upcoming electric motorcycle has been built for both road and trail use.

When it comes to features and equipment, expect the Flea S6 to come with a 19-inch front wheel and dual-sport tyres. It is slated to boast lean-angle sensing ABS, switchable dual-channel ABS, USD front forks, finned magnesium battery case, enduro-style seat, chain final drive, off-road mode, and traction control. The battery pack and range details have not been disclosed yet by the manufacturer.

Hero Vida Project VxZ 

The VxZ is another upcoming electric bike from Hero MotoCorp that debuted at the EICMA 2025. It has been co-developed with the American-based Zero Motorcycles. We have seen the images, and it looks quite production-ready with a naked streetfighter styling. The Hero Vida VxZ electric motorcycle seems to have 5-spoke alloy wheels, a stepped seat, signature Vida LED DRLs, and a sleeker rear profile.

We can also expect it to feature a mid-mounted electric motor setup, which is identical to the Ubex concept. While the maker has not released any technical specs yet, the launch timeline could take place by mid-2027, albeit not confirmed by the manufacturer.
