How to survive Zombies endless waves in Black Ops 7
The first three rounds are your warm-up, not your highlight reel. If you're trying to learn routes without the pressure, jumping into a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby can help you lock in the basics, but the habits still matter: knife early, tap heads, and quit mag-dumping into torsos.
Points First, Pride Later
A lot of people panic-shoot because the sound of the horde gets loud. Don't. Early on, you're buying time and points, not chasing fast kills. Melee is free, quick, and it staggers just enough to slip past a doorway. If you've got space, line them up and take clean headshots. You'll feel the difference by round four when you're actually able to open doors instead of begging your teammate for scraps.
Power On, Then Breathe
Get power running as soon as you reasonably can. I aim for round three if the layout isn't awful. Dark corners get you killed, and locked perks keep you weak. Once power's on, the whole map starts working for you: clearer sightlines, safer rotations, and access to the stuff that turns "surviving" into "controlling" the round.
Use the Map's Toys
Players love ignoring traps and then acting surprised when they're pinned. Don't be that person. If you've got something like Tessy's Turret or a saw trap, treat it like a reset button. Pull the horde through it when your reload timing gets messy. Even better, use traps to thin the pack while you reposition, not when you're already one hit from dropping.
Pack-a-Punch Timing
When you're sitting around 2,500–3,000 points, start thinking about Pack-a-Punch, not another wall gun "just in case." The damage bump is what keeps your rounds from turning into endless kiting sessions. Upgrade one weapon you trust, then build around it. If armor is available, grab it early; without it, one weird spawn behind you can erase a solid run in two seconds.
Movement Wins Rounds
The real skill is flow. Wide loops, predictable lanes, no greedy turns. You're trying to stack the zombies into a clean line, then punish them, then move again. Find a corridor or an open loop where you can see everything. If you're practicing with bots, let them hold a lane while you learn the rhythm—how long you can stay before a route closes, when to fake a turn, when to stop shooting and just run.
Augments and Power-Ups
New Augments can save you, but only if you treat them like tools, not miracles. Free Faller is great for bailing off high ground when a spawn flips and the stairs turn into a wall of bodies. And please, be picky with power-ups: don't grab Max Ammo when you're topped off, don't waste Insta-Kill when the horde isn't grouped, and don't sprint into a bonus if it pulls you out of your route. If you want a low-stress way to drill those decisions, Bot Lobbies BO7 can make it easier to repeat the same round patterns until the smart choices feel automatic.
