Getting The Right Solar Base
The first trap people fall into is trying to slam "+3 to Level of All Melee Skills" like it is a regular mod and not a black hole for your orbs. Do not do that. You want to buy a Solar Amulet where that mod is already fractured so you never risk losing it to scours or chaos spam. Solar is non‑negotiable for this build because the implicit Spirit keeps your form swaps and skills online without you staring at an empty resource globe every pack. Using The Well Of Souls For Energy Shield
This is the step where people get nervous, because the Well of Souls can hand you some real nonsense if you just yolo it. Before you start, you pop an Omen of Sinistral Necromancy so the Desecration there only adds prefixes, which keeps your suffix slots open for later. On top of that you bring an Omen of Abyssal Echoes as a safety valve; if the Well offers you garbage like low tier spell damage or something that is useless for a Werewolf, you get another shot. What you are actually chasing is Tier 1 increased maximum Energy Shield as a prefix. Dialling In Mana And Suffixes

After that you line up an Omen of Catalysing Exaltation so your next Exalted Orb actually cares about that catalyst bonus and has a real shot at giving you a high‑tier mana regeneration suffix. Finishing Touches And When It Is Worth It
Once the main pieces are locked in, the last job is to round out your resistances and any missing utility, usually by targeting one or two good suffixes that help cap your res without wrecking the rest of your gear plan. At this point the amulet feels like the centrepiece of the build rather than just another rare you are going to replace, and you start noticing how much more comfortable hard content feels when your Werewolf does not crumble the moment Spirit dips.
