Each agent has a goal (e.g., to buy certain items, to catch a flight, to see a doctor) and follows realistic movement behaviors, such as avoiding obstacles, queuing, and moving at different speeds. By running the simulation, managers can identify bottlenecks, test different layouts for checkouts or security lines, and determine optimal staffing levels for different times of the day.
