Finding the trap spot

Start by dropping into Riven Tides and making your way north. The place you want is near the Port Authority Building, which is one of the easier landmarks to recognise once you've spent a bit of time on the map. From there, push beyond the sea wall and head down toward the dry Seabed. Keep your eyes open for a large red buoy sitting partly buried in the sand. It doesn't look like much at first, but that's the whole trick. Walk up to it and the blue interaction prompt should appear. Press it, place the trap, and the objective is done. No waiting around. No bird animation. No extra step.

Getting out without wasting the run

The trap step is simple, but the area can still punish you if you wander in half-asleep. Riven Tides has enough open ground that an ARC patrol or another Raider can ruin the job fast. I'd suggest treating it like a quick in-and-out errand. Don't get greedy unless you've already cleared the nearby threats. Place the trap, check your route, and extract when it makes sense. Once you're back in Speranza, the project moves into the part most players expected from the start: handing over materials.

What the project asks for next

Avian Alarm has five stages, and the early ones are fairly harmless. You'll be giving up things like Tick Pods and Moss, the sort of loot you've probably seen a dozen times while running around. Later on, though, it gets pickier. The project starts asking for ship models tied to Riven Tides, including names like “Twilight Compass” and “Sirena Dorata.” This is where people make annoying mistakes. Check the rarity before you donate anything. If the project wants a green version, don't throw in a rare gold model just because it has the right name. Save the good stuff until you know you actually need it.

Why Avian Alarm is worth finishing

The last stages lean into rarer ARC parts, such as Turbine Compressors and Vaporizer Regulators, so expect a bit of farming before you're done. Still, the payout feels better than some of the duller projects. You'll pick up useful blueprints, Raider Tokens, and the Bird House backpack attachment, which is a neat little badge for anyone who pushed through the whole chain.
