How China Took Over the World’s Shipyards and What Comes Next:
The global shipbuilding and shipping industry is dominated by a few key players, notably China, South Korea, and Japan. While China accounts for 50 per cent of global shipbuilding capacity, 19 per cent of commercial fleets, and over 95 per cent of shipping containers, there is a growing opportunity for countries to work together beyond this concentration.
